Among the various adventure-related sport activities in Nepal, Paragliding is one of the most popular activities in Nepal. Along with paragliding, other activities like Bunjee jumping, rafting, mountain biking, Kayaking, etc. are equally popular among the visiting tourists. It has been quite few years since paragliding was first started in Nepal in the beautiful city of Pokhara. Since then, thousands of tourists, both domestic and international ones, have visited this wonderful city for enjoying the thrill of paragliding. Paragliding allows you to fly and hover over the sky like a bird, and observe the natural surroundings from the top. The duration of paragliding will last for around 30-40 minutes as you will enjoy your flight, flying above the beautiful lake of Phewa and finally landing along the shores of the lake. Paragliding in Pokhara is performed from the hills of Sarankot, popular for sunrise and sunset viewing and a perfect viewpoint in the valley of Pokhara. Paragliding provides an unmatched experience of thrill and adventure for all the adventure lovers from across the world.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be received by our representatives at the Airport. You will then be transferred to the hotel where you will be briefed about the travel itinerary in short. The rest of the time you will be staying at the hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The second day of the itinerary, you will be sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley, observing temples and monuments many of which have been enlisted in the UNESCO’s list of World Heritages. You will travel around the Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur and observe ancient art and architecture. Also, you will sightsee around Pasthupatinath and Swyambhunath Stupa, two major pilgrimage destinations for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. In the evening, you will return back to the hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
On the third morning, you will be driving to Pokhara which is a beautiful city in the Western part of Nepal. The drive along the Prithvi Highway takes round 6 hours to reach Pokhara. The drive will be a pleasant one as you will travel along the shores of Trishuli River. After reaching Pokhara, you can sightsee around the Valley to utilize the remaining time. Places like Lake side, Phewa Lake, Peace Stupa, Davis Fall could be the places of your interest. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 04: Paragliding in Pokhara
The next morning, you will wake up in the morning and have your breakfast at the hotel. You will then head towards Sarantkot, the site for paragliding. From the hills of Sarankot, you will fly like a bird and observe the surroundings with the bird’s eye view. The thrill and adventure will be remarkable as you are set to enjoy the 30-40 minutes of ride before landing at Pame, near the shore of Phewa Lake. From Pame, you will return to your hotel and spend the rest of the time there at the hotel.

Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu
On the fifth morning, you will drive back to Kathmandu along the same way which you took while coming to Pokhara. After about six hours of pleasant drive, you will be back to the capital city of Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 06: Departure
On the final day, you will be transferred to the International Airport in Kathmandu from where you will take a flight back to your home country, or to your next desired destination.
