The 7th highest peak in the world, Dhaulagiri (8167m), is positioned in the North –West of Western part of Nepal. Dhaulagiri Trekking is a campaign type of trekking. It is supposed to be the most adventurous and challenging trekking destination. It was Swiss team, which, through the North East Ridge, had first ascended it in 1960. The meaning of Dhaulagiri in Sanskrit justifies its name with its massive peak of magnificent ice and snowflake mounting above local topography above 7000m.
Dhaulagiri is one of the most difficult mountains to ascend, and hence Dhaulagiri Trek promises of sorts of adventure which one would expect while trekking along the high mountains in Nepal. Dhaulagiri Trek, therefore, requires you to be fully equipped and have mountaineering information and decent preparation.
