Considered as a conventional trek, Gokyo Trek presents a wonderful sight of the Peaks and the giant Glacier. The full-size glacier in Gokyo Trek is a representation of this area as it is connected by means of the elevated views of nearly every admired mountain. You can view Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Makalu clearly from Gokyo Ri (5,357 m). Gokyo Ri can be observed just above Gokyo Lake. Gokyo Trek is mainly noteworthy for the superb frost edge connecting Cho Oyu and Gyachung peaks in the Khumbu Region. As you arrive at Gokyo Trek, it is fine to observe Gokyo 4th Lake and Gokyo 5th Lake. Gokyo Trek is the vantage point from where you can make out gorgeous glacier.

The 18 day Gokyo Trek leads you to Gokyo Valley, which is the source of grand Dudh Koshi River. Many trekkers feel Gokyo Trek is unfinished if they fail to make a trip to Gokyo Valley, Gokyo Peak and the celebrated Cho La. The complete area is sanctified with natural beauty of sparkling Lakes. Trekkers can get pleasure from 360 degree panoramic view of above 8000m tall mountain ranges from the finest view spot of the Everest Region. The view looks magical from the stunning Kala Patthar. Gokyo Trek is graded as a tricky and difficult trek, which is appropriate for physically fit trekkers only.
